ANXIETY: KNOWING GOD'S PEACE

Do you struggle with anxiety? Whether you experience occasional anxiety or debilitating panic attacks, God’s Word offers hope and help to you. In our class, Anxiety: Knowing God’s Peace, we will discuss anxiety from a biblical perspective and offer practical ways to overcome it. We will be utilizing the book Anxiety: Knowing God’s Peace by Paul Tautges which includes daily readings, reflection questions, and practical applications to fuel the faith that strengthens inner security and peace.
BASIC LIFE SUPPORT CERTIFICATION
We will be offering six classes in 2024 with the dates listed below. Please click on the buttons for more information and to register.
Are you looking for CPR training? We are offering a free Basic Life Support class. Successful completion of this 4-hour class will result in BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Our class teaches the skills of CPR for all ages as well as other life-saving techniques. This class is open to anyone whether you are taking CPR training for the first time or if you are renewing a previous certification. Our American Heart Association BLS instructor is Scott Williams, APRN. Each class is free and will be limited to 8 participants.
FOUNDATIONS OF A GODLY HOME
This class will be on Thursdays from 5:30-7:00 CST beginning 4/11/24 and will last four weeks. This class is approved training for foster parents and provides 6 hours of continuing education.
Every family home is built on a foundation. Some foundations are built on rock and can stand, while other foundations are built on sand and crumble. In this parenting seminar, pastor and best-selling author Dr. Paul David Tripp will outline the required tools needed to build your home on solid ground. He will help your family implement the beliefs, values, words, and actions that are foundational to a Godly home. This class covers the four of his "14 Gospel Principles That Can Radically Change Your Family."

In this life-giving class, Paul Tripp offers parents much more than a to-do list. Instead, he presents us with a big-picture view of God's plan for us as parents. This class will be on Thursdays from 5:30-7:00 CST beginning 9/14/23 and will last seven weeks. This class is approved training for foster parents and provides 10.5 hours of continuing education. This class is free and will be offered online.
Instructing a Child’s Heart by Tedd and Margy Tripp provides a crucial foundation for the principles in Shepherding a Child’s Heart, teaching parents the importance of developing and shaping their children’s thinking. This formative instruction is not discipline or correction; rather, it is intentionally building a biblical culture of thought and understanding in our homes. Instructing a Child’s Heart is an essential “how-to” manual for Shepherding a Child’s Heart, helping parents provide their children with a biblical framework for approaching and understanding all of life.
LOSS OF A SPOUSE
Our next Loss of a Spouse Seminar will be on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024 from 5:30-7:00 pm CST. This seminar is free and will be offered both online and in person.

This class will be on Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 CST beginning 10/3/24 and will last three weeks. This class is approved training for foster parents and provides 3 hours of continuing education.

This is the high and holy calling of every mom and dad—a lifelong journey that doesn’t conclude when your child leaves the home. In this 3-session conference from pastor and author Paul Tripp, you will discover the biblical strategies for each development in your child, from toddler to teen to adult. In this newly-recorded edition, Tedd Tripp presents his Shepherding a Child’s Heart seminar in twelve half-hour sessions.
